Oral Technical Presenters will give their 15​-minute presentation LIVE during their designated session time. After your presentation, there will be 5 minutes for Q&A ​from the ​audience.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be available for viewing​ to attendees at any time during the meeting​.​

  • Poster Size is A0 ( Width: 33.1 inches X Height: 46.8 inches) It is important that you do not exceed this size.
  • Build your poster in PowerPoint. 
  • English is the official language used at the 2022 SSP Conference.
  • All posters to include title, authors’ names, affiliation, an introduction and conclusion. We recommend you arrange materials in columns rather than rows, for ease of reading.
  • Poster should be self-contained and self-explanatory, allowing different viewers to proceed on their own while the author is free to supplement or discuss points raised in inquiry. It is not necessary to include the entire research history; present only enough data to support the conclusions and show the originality of the work.
  • Poster material to be of light-weight material or fabric.
  • SSP will provide poster numbers and one packet of Velcro to utilize in hanging your poster.

At the Meeting

  • Poster authors are responsible for producing and bringing their poster to the meeting. 
  • Poster set-up is on Wednesday, November 2, from 11:45 a.m.–3:00 p.m. 
  • Posters will be on display Wednesday and Thursday. Any poster not on display during the conference will be withdrawn from the program.
  • All presenters are required to attend the Cocktail Reception with Exhibits and Posters on Wednesday, November 2, from 4:30–6:00 p.m.
  • Speed Poster Session is on Thursday, November 3 from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Presenters have been notified if they are accepted as a speed poster presenter.
  • Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 3 from 4:45-5:15 p.m. Student Awards will be selected onsite and presented at the ceremony.
  • Poster takedown is Thursday, November 3, from 5:00–5:30 p.m. Any posters remaining on display after this time will be discarded.

Speed Poster Presentations

Speed Poster Presenters will give their 5-minute presentation during the Speed Poster session taking place 10:30–11:00​ a.m. on Thursday, November 3. Speed Poster presentations should consist of 1–3 PowerPoint slides outlining the objectives, conclusions, and big takeaways of your poster.
