Did You Know?
Booking a room at the Hyatt Regency Savannah—under the official conference room block—benefits you and supports SSP. When you "book within the block," you help keep the meeting registration fees lower, you help our organizations secure future meeting sites, and you enable us to provide some important conference features that participants have come to enjoy. Please book responsibly.
Hotel Scam Warning
We are aware of companies pretending to be the “official” 2022 SSP Conference housing company, offering special non-refundable rates at conference hotels, and requesting credit card information. There is NO “official” housing company for the 2022 SSP Conference; therefore, NO company is authorized to solicit directly by telephone for hotel bookings or special discounts. We encourage attendees to book their room directly via the link above to receive the conference’s special group rate.
Wondering What to Wear?
The conference attire is business casual. This year's Gala is taking place aboard the Savannah River Queen for a night of fun networking on an open air top deck so bring a jacket or wrap to fully enjoy the river.
Attendees From Outside the United States
If you need to apply for a temporary non-immigrant visa to attend 2022 SSP Conference, you are advised to apply for your visa as soon as possible and no later than 3-4 months in advance. You will receive an invitation letter after your registration is complete, which may be submitted with your visa application to verify the name, dates, location, and purpose of 2022 SSP Conference. All applicants must be able to qualify for a visa on their own merits. SSP cannot intervene with embassies in other countries on behalf of any meeting participants. Please visit the U.S. Visa website for official, up-to-date information.
The U.S. Department of State encourages you to apply for your visa as soon as possible. Some consulates may have backlogs in scheduling visa interviews, so applicants should contact the consulate directly to determine wait times or visit the
U.S. Visa website. If you have additional questions, please contact sspmeeting@scisoc.org.
