Guest Information
Guests must register for the meeting and purchase a ticket to attend the Gala. Guest are not allowed in session rooms or in the exhibit hall. All guests will be required to follow the policies outlined in our
Health & Safety Policy. The Guest designation is for social guests attending in a non-business capacity. Business associates and colleagues are not considered guests and must register for the full meeting.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Registration cancellations MUST be made in writing and received no later than September 30, 2022. Cancellations received by this date are subject to a $100 processing fee. Registration cancellations received after
September 30, 2022, are NOT subject to a refund. At any time, you may transfer your registration to another member of your organization.
SSP reserves the right to cancel the meeting if a sufficient number of registrations are not received by
September 15, 2022. If SSP cancels this meeting, your registration fee will be refunded in full. In the event any portion of the meeting is cancelled, SSP is not liable for nonrefundable airfares or ticket change penalties imposed by the airlines. By registering for this meeting, you agree to the cancellation and refund terms and conditions.

Onsite Safety Requirements
The health and well-being of our attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and staff is our top priority. Our policy aims to safeguard the health and safety of all
2022 SSP Conference attendees and is based on guidelines from the CDC, our meeting location, and our event venue.
Attendees From Outside the United States
If you need to apply for a temporary non-immigrant visa to attend the 2022 SSP Conference, you are advised to apply for your visa as soon as possible and no later than 3-4 months in advance. You will receive an invitation letter after your registration is complete, which may be submitted with your visa application to verify the name, dates, location, and purpose of 2022 SSP Conference. All applicants must be able to qualify for a visa on their own merits. SSP cannot intervene with embassies in other countries on behalf of any meeting participants. Please visit the U.S. Visa website for official, up-to-date information.
The U.S. Department of State encourages you to apply for your visa as soon as possible. Some consulates may have backlogs in scheduling visa interviews, so applicants should contact the consulate directly to determine wait times or visit the
U.S. Visa website. If you have additional questions, please contact sspmeeting@scisoc.org.
Expected Behavior Policy
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free meeting experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. We ask all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, guests and other participants be considerate and respectful to all members and refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Please note, if you register a guest for the conference, you may be held responsible for the actions of the guest. Violations of this policy should be reported to meeting staff.
SSP reserve the right to remove any individual from attendance or other participation in any SSP sponsored event without prior warning or refund, and to take additional action as determined necessary, up to and including expulsion from participation in SSP. Any course of action recommended by SSP is final.
