View Statement for SSP

I am incredibly enthusiastic about the future of our field and the role that SSP will play in it. Here are some ideas that I believe will drive our progress. Continue to drive exploration by integrating the latest advancements in psychology to better understanding how memory, expectations, emotions, and sensory perceptions influence consumer choices. Encourage adoption of new technologies and analytics that will enhance the efficiency and agility of our work. By leveraging these tools, we can gather and analyze data more effectively, leading to more informed decision-making. Advance the role of Sensory Professionals, by striving to become consumer advocates. By thinking holistically about consumer experiences, from purchase to product disposal, we can develop strategies and solutions that address their sensory needs and enhance their experiences. Embracing diversity and encouraging dialogue and knowledge sharing will foster innovation by gaining fresh perspectives to drive meaningful progress. Providing mentorship and training opportunities for aspiring sensory professionals is crucial for the continuity and advancement of our field. By developing skillsets such as strategic thinking, business acumen, problem-solving, and ability to influence decisions, we can develop future talent. I am dedicated to serving SSP and working towards the development and promotion of our field. Together, we can drive exploration, innovation, and excellence.
