View Statement for SSP

As an early career sensory and consumer researcher, my vision for the SSP is for it to be “one welcoming place” fostering a culture of diversity, innovation, continuous learning and collaboration. With the world around us evolving rapidly, I envision a future where the SSP virtual platform can encourage a true human connection - where members have meaningful conversations, learn from one another, share knowledge and exchange ideas. Our vibrant SSP community will bridge the gap between borders and bring sensory professionals worldwide to facilitate a seamless knowledge transfer, advancing global sensory and consumer research. Every SSP member will have equal access to scientific resources, valuable mentors and engaging programs – creating a new, dynamic future of sensory science.
