Mona Wolf

Wolf.jpgMona Wolf is founder of The Wolf Group, an independent sensory evaluation consulting and research firm. She has over 40 years of knowledge, experience, and practice in the field of sensory evaluation and food science. Mona holds a B.S. degree in food science from Purdue University and an M.B.A. degree in management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

She is also active in ASTM E-18 Committee, where she has served as main committee chairman, subcommittee chairman for the Committee on Consumer Testing, and task group chairmen of sensory testing for advertisement claim substantiation since its inception. She is co-editor of ASTM Sensory Testing Methods Manual 26 on Sensory Testing. She is a founding officer of the Society of Sensory Professionals. She is past chair of the Ohio Valley Institute of Food Technology and an active member of the Sensory and Consumer Division of the IFT.

Bethia Margoshes

Margoshes.pngBethia Margoshes, Ph.D., is co-chair of the ASTM E1958 Ad Claims Task Group. She is an active member of the ASTM E18 Sensory committee, developing sensory industry standards. She is also an active member of the Society of Sensory Professionals. Her SSP roles include professional development and Councilor; she is currently Secretary of the SSP Executive Committee.

Bethia has worked on a wide range of consumer products during her 30 years in R&D with The Procter & Gamble Company, developing products, claims, and sensory science capability. She is currently beauty sensory section manager. She received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in food chemistry from Cornell University. Bethia and her family live in southwest Ohio.
