2020 SSP Virtual Conference Registration Fees

Students registering with Student Registration PLUS or PREMIUM must have a faculty member sign if registering by mail or fax. If registering online, the full name and e-mail address of the appropriate faculty member must be provided to qualify.

SSP Student Member Registration Discount 

Current student members of SSP can take advantage of a deep registration discount thanks to some generous sponsors. Student members should use promo code SSPVSTUDENT to get $129 off your conference registration. Not a student member? Become one by choosing "Student Registration PLUS" or "Student Registration PREMIUM" when you register. You'll still receive the discounted student rate if you use the promo code above after selecting either registration option. All students must register by September 23, 2020​ to receive this great discount!

Abstract Presenter Registration Deadline 

Every presenter of an oral presentation, workshop, or poster abstract MUST register by September 23, 2020 or the abstract will be withdrawn from the meeting. 

SSP Swag Bag 

Swag Bags will be sent to all registrants who reside in the continental United States only. To receive your swag bag in the mail prior to the start of the 2020 SSP Virtual Conference, you must register by October 3, 2020. Please log into your SSP account to verify/update the mailing address attached to your profile.

Connectors Program

Our objective in the Connectors Program is to help you grow your network and support sensory career development. SSP members, if you are interested in being paired with a mentor/mentee in our Connectors Program, please indicate how you'd like to participate when you register:

• ​As a Student, to interact with mentors
  
• As an Early Professional, to interact with both students and mentors
• As an Experienced Professional, to act as a mentor

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations MUST be made in writing and received by SSP no later than October 7, 2020. Cancellations received by this date are subject to a $25 processing fee. Registration cancellations received after October 7, 2020, are NOT subject to a refund. You may transfer your registration to another member of your organization. ​

If you would prefer to register by fax or mail, download and complete the registration form​. Once completed, fax or mail the form to the address below. Given that many SSP staff members are working from home at this time, please send an email to ssp@scisoc.org to let us know you’ve mailed in your registration form!

Expected Behavior Policy

We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free meeting experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. We ask all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, guests and other participants be considerate and respectful to all members and refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Please note, if you register a guest for the meeting, you may be held responsible for the actions of the guest. Violations of this policy should be reported to meeting staff.

SSP reserves the right to remove any individual from attendance or other participation in any SSP sponsored event without prior warning or refund, and to take additional action as determined necessary, up to and including expulsion from participation in SSP. Any course of action recommended by SSP is final.

*Each exhibiting company is entitled to two (2) complimentary registrations. Additional exhibitors must pay the full exhibitor rate.

**Register for the conference at Registration PLUS or Student Registration PLUS and you will receive the member registration rate + one (1) year of SSP professional or student membership (valued at $102 and $22 respectively).

***Register for the conference at Registration PREMIUM or Student Registration PREMIUM and you will receive the member registration rate + two (2) years of SSP professional or student membership (valued at $204 and $44 respectively).
