Thank you to all who submitted abstracts and sessions. Program participants have been notified of their submission status. If you submitted an abstract/session and did not receive your notification, please
contact us.
Guidelines
Oral presentations will be presented live during session broadcast by default (see the
program for your session date and time in Central Time). If you are unable to make the live session, please let us know, as you may prerecord your presentation instead. You may also request to upload a recording as a backup. See instructions on recording below
.
Slide decks, prerecordings, and backup recordings must be uploaded to your Speaker's Corner (links to come) by October 8.
Poster Presentations
As part of the program, poster/eposters will be shared with virtual attendees. While a classic PDF poster is sufficient, we will also be offering eposter tools for any poster presenters looking to enhance their virtual presentation. Eposters include the option to upload additional graphics and prerecordings of you discussing your poster, as well as chat and contact functions.
Learn more about eposters.
Virtual poster presenters will be required to be available on the eposter platform during
poster hours to participate in any discussion threads for their e-poster.
A poster is not the same thing as an
Exhibit.
Speed Posters
If your poster was selected as a Speed Poster, you will have both a poster/eposter and a short oral presentation slot (no longer than 5 minutes). Please follow both the Oral and Poster Guidelines above.
Recording Your Presentation
All oral and poster presenters will have the option to upload recordings of their presentations.
Additional Resources
Presentation Upload
All presenting authors (oral and poster) must upload their posters or presentation slides to their moderators for approval by October 8. Oral presenters will upload to their Speaker's Corner, while poster authors will upload to Learning Toolbox. This deadline also applies to any prerecorded video.
Tips for Presenting
Are you tired of presenting off a Powerpoint? Want to make an impact with a memorable presentation? We're here to help! We've gathered
resources and guides to make sure your presentation is a success.
Session Attendance
All presenters, even those who have prerecorded presentations, will be required to be present virtually for Q&A when their session is broadcast.
Student Evergreen Awards
Student oral and poster presenters are eligible for one of these three
SSP Evergreen Awards. These awards are presented during the SSP Conference at the Award Ceremony on November 5, 1:00 p.m. CST. To be considered, poster presenters must upload an audio file within their eposter.
